Poggio ai Cieli is situated in a privileged position for visiting the countless art cities of Tuscany.

San Gimignano is only 8 km away and other interesting cities like Siena, Florence and Volterra can be reached within an hour’s drive by car.   The splendid cities of Pisa and Lucca are a little bit further at 80 km distance.

Finally, just a few kilometres away are the small but splendid towns of Certaldo, Colle Val D’Elsa, Casole D’Elsa, Monteriggioni and Vinci.

Departing from Poggio ai Cieli you can also visit Abbeys and Monasteries such as Monte Oliveto, Passignano, Certosa and San Galgano.
